Dr. Seuss National MemorialMy name is Lisa Martin I am Co-owner as well as a Teacher at Side By Side Preschool & Child Care Center in Chicopee, Ma. Recently our Preschool classes along with Stanley, went on a field trip to the Springfield Science Museum & the Dr Seuss National Memorial. It is only about 20 minutes from our school. The memorial is cast in Bronze, you can find it in the "Quadrangle" in Springfield, Mass. about 7 miles from the Forest Park area where Ted Geisel (Dr. Seuss) was born. That is also about 5 miles from Mulberry st, the setting for the first and famous "And to think that I saw it on Mulberry street." Stanley had such a great time I thought I would send the photos along for you to enjoy. We are really enjoying sending and receiving Flat Stanley's, We have only been involved since January and a child in my class asked: "Can we send Stanley places till he's OLD!?" well, I hope so!Your flat-sharing friend,Lisa Martin
