Stanley went for a walk around the sights of Lancaster and Heysham. Here
is his photo album. We hope you like it! Stanley was made by Year 3/4 of
Trumacar C. P. School, Heysham.

Stanley at the seaside next to the enormous Nuclear Power Stations named
Heysham I and Heysham II. The ferry port to Ireland and the Isle of Man is
next door to the power stations.

Stanley at St Patrick’s Chapel Heysham. The chapel is over 1000 years old.

These graves are at St Patrick’s Chapel. They are cut into the rock and
are over 1000 years old.

Stanley at the Ashton Memorial in Lancaster. This memorial was made by Mr
Ashton for his wife. It is in our park called Williamson Park.

Stanley outside the Butterfly House in Williamson Park, Lancaster.
The
house is very warm inside and is full of tropical butterflies and moths.
This is a view over the City of Lancaster. You can see the hill with the
castle and priory on the top in the foreground. Heysham is on the horizon
just before Morecambe Bay.

Stanley saying Hello to Queen Victoria. She reigned over our country from
1837 to 1901. This statue is in Dalton Square, Lancaster.

Stanley outside Lancaster Castle. The castle was started in the Norman
Period, around 1000 years ago. It was built on top of a Roman fort which
dates to around 2000 years ago. It is now a high security prison. It has
the highest walls of any prison in England!

This is a view of our lovely bay which is called Morecambe Bay. This
picture was taken at the seaside at Heysham. In the distance across the
bay you can see The Lake District. We hope you have liked our pictures of
