IceCube Neutrino Observatory

Flat Stanley is going to the South Pole! Before he gets there, take a look at human life at the South Pole as they work on the IceCube Neutrino Observatory.

January 5, 2007:

We are awaiting flight out today to McMurdo. Several delays in travel due to parts problem with LC17 aircraft. Flying out at 5:00pm NZ, or 5 hours off Central time. Hope we make it in one flight, sometimes the flight needs to return and try again if weather is nasty.

Flat Stanley is traveling well and has enjoyed NZ.
